Overview
At UZINFOCOM I work in the department that digitizes law-making and decision-making in government bodies. The systems I've worked on include E-Qaror, E-Kengash and MySuhbat. E-Kengash, together with its mobile app, I built end to end. Most of my work is backend: architecture, business logic and the services that implement it. On some projects I also build the mobile app.
The problem
Legislative work is a long, multi-party process with strict rules about who may do what and when. Software that supports it has to model that process precisely and stay maintainable for years.
The challenge
Complex domain rules, multiple roles, and processes that span services. The system has to stay correct under concurrency, fast under load, and readable to the next engineer.
My role
- Design of system architecture and business logic
- Backend development in PHP and Laravel
- Domain-Driven Design and SOLID application design
- JWT authentication and authorization
- Async processes through RabbitMQ
- PostgreSQL work and performance optimisation
- Unit tests to project standards
- Building mobile apps, including the E-Kengash app
Approach
Bounded contexts from the domain
DDD keeps legal-process language in the code. Each context owns its rules, which keeps changes local when regulations or procedures change.
Async where the process is async
Long-running steps and cross-service events go through RabbitMQ, so requests stay fast and a slow consumer doesn't block a user.
Measured optimisation
Bottlenecks are found in profiles and query plans, then fixed at the cause: queries, indexes or code paths.
