Story

How I got here

Sardor Mirzakarimov in his office

I'm a full-stack developer and systems engineer with a bachelor's and a master's in Software Engineering from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak. I started in 2018 building client sites at a creative agency, and since then I've shipped software in Malaysia, the UAE, Oman and Uzbekistan.

In Oman I managed a trading branch, with its staff, clients and reporting, while building the internal tools it ran on. That changed how I work. I don't start with a framework. I start with the order that went missing, the report that takes two days, the approval nobody can trace.

Today I'm a lead specialist at UZINFOCOM, building the backend of public-sector information systems. Outside of work I run SardorCodeFi, short YouTube and Instagram videos that explain how technology works, and Found IT, the IT services studio I founded.

Principles

How I work

  1. Model the business before the database

Most failed systems encode the wrong process perfectly. I map how work actually moves, then design the data around it.

  2. Correct first, clever never

Money is stored as exact decimals with its currency. Issued documents are corrected with reversals, never edited. Access is enforced in the database, not just the UI.

  3. One accountable owner

Design, architecture, code and deployment held by one person means nothing falls between teams, and every decision has a reason someone can explain.

  4. Ship, then stay

Launch is the middle of the project. The useful part starts when real people hit real edge cases, and I'm still there to fix them.
